November 1: MARYLAND

On Saturday, November 1, the Marching Music Series comes to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. for a magnificent showcase of Mid-Atlantic bands.

With its beautiful facility, great vantage point, and stellar judging panel, this premier event provides a fantastic experience for East-Coast band students, instructors and spectators alike.

"Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis has been a staple of the USBands schedule for years, including a stint as the site for National Championships," said USBands Director Justin Heimbecker.

"The opportunity to combine this venue with the Music in Motion brand is an experience we were thrilled to offer to the bands in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions!"

Like all of the inaugural Marching Music Series events, this was a 30-band preliminary competition followed by a same-day finals competition that featured 15 of the bands that performed earlier in the day. Awards were given in six separate competitive classes in the Prelims, while the Finals were a 15-band, all-class event with one level of awards.
